Well, compadrés -- if'n you en't heard 'em by now, it's time you did, and if'n you have, it's time you heard 'em again.
BTW kicks off the evening with a set to burn away the curtains to THE NIGHT! What better than Richmond's own Indie pop rock group to blow the doors wide open by extending into the farthest reaches of the keyboards, countermelodies, complex cadences, and...catechisms? required to tug at reminiscences of fleeting past-times.
Surely, while the pens are still flowing with the ink of the former band's names, Richmond's premiere Alt. Country/Americana/Folk Rock group Exebelle & The Rusted Cavalcade will carry the mood into a steady train of rhythm and sound, whilst overlaying the mind with sung depictions of cities, fields, and seas in the midst of all the hope and strife that money can't buy.
Shortly thereafter (as a few minutes might could be called), Mason Brothers -- the hounds of Indie Folk Rock, themselves
-- will be bounding onto the 14 x 11, letting their influences howl as they ebb and flow from sweet mandolins and the pitter-pattering of brushes to edgy guitar riffs, rolling bass-lines, and buzzing organs to support the weight of years of heartache, heartbreak, and redemption.
Swooping in for the kill, The Animal Beat rounds out the night with straight-to-the-essence indie pop rock that takes the sugar OUT of "pop" and transforms it INTO the man-making, hard tack of your "pop" 's days out on the field.
Autographs afterward, of course.
Come one, come all, and see the little big city fall...in love...with The Camel, on the 9th day of the 3rd month of our 2013th year, A.D.
