s. II vol. VII, or The Listening Room at The Firehouse no. 4

Poster Design by Matt Klimas

School's out, the weather is miserable, the week is packed with music events, and we still have stalwart Listening Room support. Thank you so much to everyone who came out last night. It was another night of firsts: 1st Charlottesville band, 1st Michigan performer, 1st choir.

Post Show Notes

Chris Campanelli & The Dusty Jackets have been getting more and more press as they steadily build their fan base and play shows with the likes of David Dondero, Birdie Busch, and Paul Curreri. In my opinion they're THE new band out of Charlottesville. Keep an eye out for future shows and recordings to make their way out of a reinvigorated Charlottesville Folk Rock Scene.

Small Houses is stunning. The guitar work, the songs, the lyrics, the romance. Jeremy's got it all.

We hope to have him come through town again. In the meantime, check out his recordings on his website and stay tuned for a new full length record coming out later this year!

Haze and The Transients. In their own words: 'local. organic. music.' Grassroots, folk pop, rock, combo with an emphasis on harmonies and a good time. Check em out this Saturday at Whittaker Farm in Ashland. See their website for details!

Be sure to check back in with us next month for photos, audio and a review of the show!
In the meantime, check out the following blogs for reviews:
